Chartwells Food Services is the exclusive provider of catered Food & Beverage at Mohawk College (excluding IAHS & Student Centre).
All catering orders must be completed on line and submitted to our Catering Coordinator with function details.
Please use these guidelines Monday to Friday:
24 Hours notice for coffee/pastry
48 Hours notice for cold luncheons
1 Week notice for Hot Luncheon orders
1 Week notice for Weekend orders
48 Hour cancellation notice for all events otherwise you will be billed accordingly
Late orders will be accommodated as close to the requested time as possible. A late fee of $25.00 will be added to the final invoice
All deliveries are on paper. China & cutlery are available at an additional charge.
Linen table cloth rental is available at an additional charge. Linen is included with buffet table service only.
Additional Labour charges are applicable on all functions outside the hours of:
Monday to Thursday before 6:30am and after 7:00pm (September to June 1st)
Friday before 6:30am and after 4:00pm (September to June 1st)
Monday to Friday before 7:00am and after 4:00pm (June through August)
Bar service is available for all functions in licensed rooms. Please obtain an Alcoholic Beverage Authorization Form from the Ancillary Services Department. Bartenders & extra staff members are an additional $25.00 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours. Please not that in accordance with the A.G.C.O. food MUST be served when liquor is offered.
For Food Safety reasons, food leftovers at an event should be removed by Chartwells catering associates. Chartwells is not responsible for providing containers or wrap to facilitate their removal. Food is for ONE event and leftovers cannot be held over for another catered event.
Our buffets are not “All you can eat”. Prices and food quantities provided are based on an average portion per person.
All outside groups will be required to pay 50% down 2 weeks prior to the event & the remainder the day of by Credit Card, Certified Cheque, Debit or cash.
